Canada is hitting back against U.S. tariffs. Although Canada avoided any new tariffs on U.S. President Donald Trump’s so-called ‘liberation day’, Washington had already imposed a host of tariffs on its neighbor, including 25% tariffs on auto exports to the U.S. which took effect Thursday, April 3.
Now Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney is responding, with similar auto tariffs on the U.S.
