U.S. Senators criticized the Trump administration’s migrant mission at the U.S. Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba after a recent trip to the military base last month. The delegation called it a waste of taxpayers’ dollars, a misuse of military resources and said it was a “misguided mission that must immediately cease.” The Guantanamo military facility is considered the largest and most costly of its kind in the world.
