Canada’s Liberal Party, led by Mark Carney made a remarkable political comeback in the snap parliamentary election on April 28.
Just a few months ago, the Liberals were more than 20 points down to the Conservatives in opinion polls.
But this election was transformed, in part, by the U.S. President Donald Trump and his trade war and threats against Canada’s sovereignty.
And even in victory, Trump remained a key focus for the Liberal leader.
