Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is preparing for a high-profile trip to China this month, where he’ll attend the CELAC–China Summit and meet with President Xi Jinping.
The visit will follow a stop in Moscow and highlights Brazil’s push to strengthen ties across the Global South.
Speaking with Chinese journalists ahead of the trip, Lula called China “a strategic partner in a turbulent world.”
