Tariffs put independent brewery at risk

Many U.S. companies have been left scrambling following President Donald Trump’s move to double tariffs on foreign aluminum and steel imports to 50%. Among those businesses impacted are the nearly 10,000 craft breweries in the U.S., which are small and independently owned. Many rely on overseas suppliers to keep their operations running -- making them particularly vulnerable to Trump’s levies.
