With more than a third of Colombia’s land mass covered by the Amazon Rainforest, scientists there take a keen interest in protecting its biodiversity. That’s particularly evident at a scientific archive housed in Bogota, home to more than 100,000 samples of plant life. Michelle Begue reports.
