The ten largest ports in the United States have experienced a sharp decline in container volume this year, largely due to tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on key trading partners, particularly China. Although the latest round of trade negotiations with Beijing has led to a partial rollback of some tariffs, uncertainty continues to cloud the prospects of a comprehensive trade deal.
