The U.S. July 4th holiday season is underway for millions of Americans, but not for lawmakers. They’ve been working in Congress over the weekend trying to pass U.S. President Donald Trump’s signature legislation. Late Saturday, June 28, Senate Republicans managed to squeeze just enough votes to advance the bill. But much work remains to clear its full passage. CGTN’s Owen Fairclough reports.
