BYD, the Chinese electric vehicle giant, has taken another big step in Latin America. On July 1, the company unveiled its first 100% Brazilian-made car — a milestone for the country’s auto industry and for BYD’s regional expansion. Paulo Cabral reports from Sao Paulo.
