A red carpet rolled out recently in Washington, D.C. for the documentary debut of a group of pickleball players from Montgomery County Public Schools in the neighboring U.S. state of Maryland. These student-athletes filmed their cultural exchange trip to China, part of a Chinese initiative to welcome 50,000 young Americans over five years. Beini Li has the story.
