The United Nations Security Council is set to convene Sunday, Aug. 10, to discuss Israel’s latest Gaza offensive. This, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he will not back down after his security cabinet approved a plan for the country’s military to take control of Gaza City - escalating the 22-month long conflict in the region.
