Denmark’s government summoned the U.S. ambassador to the country amid allegations Washington is secretly encouraging Greenland to secede. The world’s largest island is a semi-autonomous Danish territory that U.S. President Donald Trump has said he wants to buy or acquire for its mineral deposits and strategic location.
