Impact of end to Canada's retaliatory tariffs

On Sep. 1, Canada will drop many of its retaliatory tariffs on the United States. The tariffs followed U.S. duties on several Canadian goods with U.S. President Donald Trump arguing that Canada must 'pay a fair rate.’ Washington had warned Ottawa of trade consequences for not stemming the flow of illicit drugs across their shared border and for its plans to recognize a Palestinian state. Canada has long been the U.S.’s most significant trading partner, but these latest developments could change all that. Natalie Carney reports.
