With a number of global issues facing countries around the world, United Nations Secretary General António Guterres called for a Climate Summit at this year's General Assembly. It's seen as a stepping stone ahead of COP30 in Brazil later this year. 

One looming question as the world prepares for the Climate Conference is how many countries will submit their carbon reduction commitments.
