Federal shutdown hits workers beyond Washington

Only about 15 percent of America’s 3 million civilian federal employees work in the Washington, D.C. area and the rest are spread across the country, running veterans’ hospitals, delivering mail, and maintaining national parks. Now, with hundreds of thousands furloughed or working without pay, economists warn that communities nationwide could soon feel the strain. CGTN's Roza Kazan reports.
