Federal flood insurance program halts amid government shutdown

With the U.S. government shutdown now well into its second week, the country's federal flood insurance program has come to a halt. It comes at a time when homeowners may need it the most. The program, which supports $70 billion in annual economic activity, can no longer provide or even renew policies, a troubling development, particularly for residents in Florida during peak hurricane season. CGTN's Nitza Soledad Perez reports from Miami.
