U.S. air traffic controllers go unpaid amid government shutdown

U.S. air traffic controllers on Tuesday, Oct. 28, demanded an end to the federal government shutdown as they became the latest employees to miss a paycheck. 

As Congress remains polarized over how to end the deadlock, officials warned about the impact on a critical job that’s already been plagued by years of understaffing.
