China, US agree on pause for reciprocal port fees

The United States and China have agreed to pause reciprocal port fees that threatened to disrupt global trade routes.

Starting Monday, Nov. 10, the reciprocal port fees that were recently enacted will be suspended for at least one year. The move is seen as an important step in easing tensions in the China-U.S. trade dispute but leaves key questions unresolved.
