First time homebuyers in America are older than ever

Homeownership is slipping further out of reach for young Americans. New data shows the median age of first-time buyers has climbed to a record 40, as high prices, rising mortgage rates and limited inventory make saving for a downpayment increasingly difficult.

 Many are now turning to partners, parents or friends to afford a home. Roza Kazan reports from Seattle.
