Uncertainty is growing in the streets of Caracas as tensions escalate with the United States. A conversation between U.S. President Donald Trump and Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro could take place in the coming hours, after the U.S. State Department declared the Cartel de los Soles a foreign terrorist organization.
The U.S. alleges the group is headed by Maduro and high-ranking officials within the Venezuelan government, an accusation the Venezuelan government denies.
