Thanksgiving under pressure as food prices soar

As the food-centered American holiday of Thanksgiving approaches, millions of families are struggling to put food on the table. Prices have surged nearly 30 percent since 2020, and the recent government shutdown, the longest in U.S. history, left many federal workers and families on food assistance scrambling. While the shutdown is now over, hunger remains a concern in communities across the country. CGTN’s Nitza Soledad Perez reports from Miami.
