The United States is facing a steep and persistent decline in international tourism, which is a sharp contrast to the strong rebound seen in much of the world. Month after month, fewer foreign travelers are arriving compared to the previous year.
Analysts say top destinations such as Los Angeles and Las Vegas are feeling the biggest impact as political rhetoric, stricter immigration rules, tariffs, travel bans, and a new $250 “visa integrity fee” chip away at America’s reputation as an inviting place to visit.
