The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos was dominated by geo-politics this week. With U.S. President Trump insisting on U.S. ownership of Greenland, the Western alliance, NATO, and what the west has called the rules-based international order, faced it's biggest crisis in decades.
Canada’s Prime Minister said there was a “rupture” in the post World War II international order and signaled a departure from adhering to US hegemony by seeking co-operation away from its traditional allies in Washington - he was not alone in signaling a global rethink.
