Childcare costs in the United States now average more than $15,000 per year, forcing parents to make impossible choices. Forty-three percent of American parents say they've limited their family size due to finances, the highest level in more than a decade. It's a crisis that's not just hurting families, it's reshaping the American economy. Parents, especially mothers, are leaving the workforce because childcare costs more than they can earn. In Florida, where the cost of living has skyrocketed, the squeeze is even tighter. CGTN's Nitza Soledad Perez met a Miami mother with a master's degree who can't afford to use it.
