The Philadelphia Orchestra helped celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, with a special concert for the “Happy Chinese New Year” and “Hello! China.” China’s Ambassador to the U.S. Xie Feng, attended the event and extended New Year greetings to the event’s attendees.

Ambassador Xie Feng also emphasized Chinese President Xi Jinping’s statement on the importance of China-U.S. relations and emphasizing people-to-people exchanges as a bridge, as well as advancing friendship through the arts. He also stressed that people-to-people exchanges can help promote mutual beneficial cooperation for countries.
