Ukrainian skeleton slider Vladyslav Heraskevych, has been disqualified him from competing in the Winter Olympics after he wore a helmet with images of people killed in Ukraine’s ongoing war with Russia. IOC President Kirsty Coventry tearfully announced the ruling on Thursday, Feb. 12.
Heraskevych said his Olympic dream has been taken away and called the IOC decision “unfair and terrible.”
IOC President said "it's literally about the rules and regulations."
