U.S. civil rights campaigners are leading tributes to an icon of their movement, Reverend Jesse Jackson, who died aged 84, his family announced on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Jackson was a key figure in the 1960s civil rights campaign led by Martin Luther King.
And he continued King’s legacy to become a hugely influential figure in the U.S. and across the world.
