Georgetown University students are celebrating the Year of the Horse painting symbolic horses and exploring Chinese traditions together.
Many of the participants aren’t Chinese, but they speak Mandarin and have studied Chinese culture for years.
The horse symbolizes strength, loyalty and success in Chinese culture. As one student explains, “When the horse arrives, there is success.”
