Portland rang in the Chinese New Year with vibrant celebrations at the Lan Su Chinese Garden, which is a Suzhou-style garden built in 2000 in partnership with the city’s sister city, Suzhou. Traditionally a tranquil space for reflection and connection with nature, the garden transformed on the first day of the Year of the Horse into a lively festival scene.
