Dozens of world leaders were in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, Feb. 19, for the inaugural meeting of Donald Trump’s Board of Peace which was created to oversee the ceasefire plan and reconstruction of Gaza. 

President Trump announced the initiative last year while negotiating a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, and several key U.S. allies are not participating.
