China’s top trade negotiator, Li Chenggang, met recently in Beijing with Mexican officials to discuss trade relations, following Mexico’s decision in December to impose tariffs on Chinese products. 

As CGTN’s Franc Contreras reports, both sides call it a positive effort to improve bilateral relations.
