An Israeli strike damaged two floors of an apartment building in central Beirut, startling nearby residents who called the sound “indescribable.”

Since March 2, around 570 people in Lebanon have been killed by Israeli strikes, according to Lebanese officials.

United Nations peacekeepers say that Israel violated its ceasefire with Lebanon more than 10,000 times since it began in November 2024.
