The event, called “China in Springtime: China’s Development Opportunities for the World,” focused on the outcomes of China’s Two Sessions meetings and explored opportunities for cooperation between the United States and China.

The event, hosted by China Media Group, followed the conclusion of the annual Two Sessions in Beijing and brought together diplomats, economists, and industry leaders to discuss China’s development priorities and their global implications. CMG President Shen Haixiong and Chinese Ambassador to the United States, Xie Feng, delivered video remarks, while China’s Consul General in New York, Chen Li, and Chairman of China General Chamber of Commerce - USA, Hu Wei, spoke to guests.

Speakers including commentator Robert Lawrence Kuhn and former JPMorgan Chase Chief Economist Anthony Chan discussed the economic priorities emerging from the Two Sessions, including high-quality development, technological innovation, and opportunities for foreign investment. Participants also highlighted the importance of people-to-people connections and long-standing economic ties between the two countries.
