Over the past few weeks, Cuban medical brigades working across Latin America and the Caribbean have returned home after their contracts were canceled or not renewed.

This, amid a pressure campaign by the United States to deprive the island of revenue stemming from these medical services.  It also comes as a U.S. oil blockade has caused an energy crisis in Cuba. CGTN’s Luis Chirino reports.
