A major global study used by the United Nations estimates that some four billion people face severe water shortages for at least one month every year. 

On World Water Day, which takes place every year on Sunday, March 22, we look at a crisis unfolding in South Florida, where one of the worst droughts in a generation is draining a vital wetland and threatening the water supply for millions.
