At least 66 people, mostly Colombian soldiers, are dead after a military plane crashed on the Peru-Ecuador border on Monday, March 23, the head of Colombia's armed forces said.
The military transport plane, which was carrying 128 people, crashed shortly after taking off in Puerto Leguizamo. Dozens were injured in the incident, while four military personnel are still missing, according to officials.
