US gasoline prices on the rise amid Iran conflict

Gas prices across the United States are climbing at their fastest pace in years, driven by the conflict in Iran and the disruption of oil through the Strait of Hormuz. 

The national average for regular gasoline has jumped by a full dollar in just one month, and diesel prices, critical for moving food and goods, are rising even faster. 

From commuters to truck drivers to families buying groceries, Americans are feeling the squeeze.
