U.S. President Donald Trump widened his threats to destroy Iranian civilian infrastructure on Monday, March 30. At the same time, Trump once again claimed that "great progress" is being made in discussions with Iranian leadership to end a conflict that has created an energy crisis for Western nations. 

Some U.S. allies are now coordinating their own response to the impact on their countries.
