The United States has launched its first crewed mission toward the moon in more than 50 years. Four astronauts lifted off Wednesday evening, April 1, aboard NASA's most powerful rocket, beginning a ten-day journey that will take them farther from Earth than any humans have traveled since the Apollo era.
