An Israeli drone strike in Gaza killed Al Jazeera reporter Mohammed Wishah, on Thursday, April 8. The strike targeted his car and wounded several others.

The Gaza Government Media Office says at least 262 journalists have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 2023.

The office said Wishah's killing was an example of the “systematic targeting and assassination of Palestinian journalists” by Israel.

The Israeli government has not issued an official response to this attack.
