A 9-year-old Palestinian girl was killed by an Israeli bullet in front of her class in a tent school in northern Gaza on April 9. Ritac Abdurrauf Reyhan was shot in the mouth as Israeli army fire hit the tent. She later died at Al-Shifa Hospital.

Despite a ceasefire announced in October, Gaza’s Health Ministry says at least 733 Palestinians have been killed since, with total deaths surpassing 72,000 since October 2023.
