Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that the U.S. supports settlement expansion in Palestine’s West Bank in an interview with The Jerusalem Post. 

In 2025, Smotrich’s office said that over 51,000 housing units for Israelis were approved for deposit in the West Bank.
