Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Tehran has attained “an elevated international standing” following the conflict with the U.S. and Israel, and is looking to start a new phase of cooperation with other nations.
He made the remarks after visiting China on Wednesday, May 6. Araghchi added that he discussed issues including the Strait of Hormuz, sanctions imposed on Iran, the nuclear program, and the "peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities".
