If central banking terms like “quantitative easing” make your head spin, get ready for “trimmed mean inflation.” 

Incoming U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh has promised a change in the bank’s monetary policy aimed at controlling inflation and maximizing employment. 

But if Warsh has pledged to uphold the Fed’s tradition of staying out of politics, his inflation strategy is politically charged for some, as CGTN’s Owen Fairclough explains.
