As the U.S. marks its 250th anniversary this year, acountry that began with 13 colonies declaring independence from British rule is now a global superpower firmly engaged with Western allies. But that’s changing, especially as U.S. President Donald Trump has withdrawn from 31 United Nations organizations, while repeatedly threatening to pull out of NATO. A new survey has also found that a majority of U.S. citizens believe their country ignores the interests of other nations. CGTN's Owen Fairclough reports.
