Small businesses caught in global trade conflicts

The supply chain of many North American small businesses come across the U.S. border from Mexico, the U.S.'s biggest trading partner to the south. This year, the trade agreement once known as NAFTA - renamed the US Mexico Canada Agreement - USMCA - is up for renegotiation. The review comes at a fraught time as the Trump administration has imposed tariffs on Mexico and Canada. Behind the geo-political positioning, small businesses have been caught in the crossfire.
