Sunday marks the fourth anniversary of one of the deadliest school shootings in the U.S. On May 24, 2022, a gunman stormed an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.
Nineteen children and two teachers were killed, and a community was left shattered.
In the aftermath, U.S. lawmakers passed new gun safety regulations, though the Justice Department is now working to roll back many of those changes.
That has led some schools to look for possible alternatives to keep kids safe.
