Colombia’s elections on Sunday, May 31, took a surprising turn as an outsider, authority and order candidate took the lead in the first round of voting. Colombia’s president Gustavo Petro expressed doubts about the results. Colombians will now have to decide who is best suited for the job in a runoff election scheduled for June 21.
