Chinese dam unleashes water to replenish Yellow River bed

In preparation for flood season, Xialoangdi Dam in China’s Henan Province blasted 2,600 m³/s of water.
The operation cleaned out over 100 million tons of sediment and deepened the Yellow River Delta’s bed.
