First, he scored the goal that sent Iraq to their first World Cup since 1986 when he torunament was held in Mexico. After that, he was detained and interrogated for 7 hours at Chicago O'Hare Airport when he arrived to represent his country. Then, to top it all off, he scored Iraq's first goal in 40 years against Norway on June 16, in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
